Happy Farming β National Secondary School & Community Green Campaign (KEMPEN GO GREEN)
π± Phase One Successfully Completed — Phase Two Officially Begins!
The first phase of the “Happy Farming — National Secondary School & Community Green Campaign (KEMPEN GO GREEN)” has successfully concluded with six events! π
With today’s sharing andδΊ€ζ΅ session at Shen Jai High School, Perak coming to a successful close, the first phase of the “Happy Farming” programme has officially drawn to an end.
This programme is approved by the Ministry of Education, organised by Sin Chew Daily and Xue Hai, and proudly sponsored by KENSO, with the Malaysia Fruit Farmers Association and Malaysia Vegetable Farmers Association serving as supporting organisations. Through agricultural education, the programme aims to bring green awareness, food security awareness, and modern agricultural knowledge into schools, enabling more young people to understand, experience, and appreciate agriculture.
Over the past few months, we have visited 5 schools and 1 education centre, learning, exchanging ideas, and experiencing the value of agriculture together with hundreds of teachers and students.

At every sharing session, we introduced not only knowledge about fruits and vegetables, but also the development of modern agriculture — from cultivation and the application of technology to food processing, logistics, transportation, and food security. We hope to help students understand that agriculture is no longer simply the traditional industry many imagine it to be, but a future-oriented sector filled with innovation, technology, and limitless possibilities.
“Happy Farming” is more than just an event; it is a year-long agricultural education programme.
The completion of Phase One is not the end, but a new beginning.
Next, we will move into Phase Two, with the Malaysia Fruit Farmers Association and Malaysia Vegetable Farmers Association continuing to work hand in hand. We will further improve the course content, strengthen teamwork, and build on our experience, with the goal of developing “Happy Farming” into one of Malaysia’s most influential school-based agricultural education brands. Through this initiative, we hope to help more young people rediscover agriculture, value food, and work together to protect our green future.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the Ministry of Education, Sin Chew Daily, Xue Hai, KENSO, the Malaysia Fruit Farmers Association, the Malaysia Vegetable Farmers Association, teachers and staff from all participating schools, our partners, and every participant for their invaluable support and contributions.
π± Today, we plant a seed; in the future, we will nurture a generation of young people who better understand agriculture, value the land, and care deeply about food security.
